Wow, I tried all that technical analysis stuff, and came out with a picture of Micky Mouse. Did that happen to anyone else?

Now that the day trippers have come and gone, we can actually talk about stuff here again. One thing that I find interesting is that the comparison of seek and xcit sounds a lot like it did about four months ago, when xcit was making all the moves and seek was always "about to" but somehow never really did. Always the bridemaid type of thing.

This bugged me before, and still does. Motro was full of piss and vinegar, but that big announcement always stayed around the corner. I posited a question back then, and do so again, now that we have so many thoughtful people here: What does seek bring to the "portal" (a word not used back then) game that yhoo, xcit or lcos doesn't. Better technology? But tech never drove these guys anyway. Better partners? Nope, the only big deal they have had that was unique was DT, and it didn't knock anyone's sock's off. So why should seek exist? What is the aggreesive innovative move that Motro was all excited about?

Or have we faded back to reality, destined to always be the bridemaid and never the bride.
