Thomas, The Toronto Stock Exchange is now basically controlled by Canada's chartered banks. (Canadian Banks own all of Canada'a major brokerage firms which in turn own the TSE). Right now the TSE is suffering huge fall out from the recent alleged YBM organized crime money laundering scandal and of course the Bre-X class action suits. Canadian banks, especially their subsidiaries in the Cayman Islands and the Turk's and Caicos have long been criticized for their alleged involvement in money laundering. Sooner or later the Canadian government will be forced to step in and clean house.

For the life of me I cannot understand why the TSE would choose this moment in time to tarnish its miserable reputation any further by picking a stupid fight with Mr. Davis and Silicon Investor.

Good luck Porter!
