Coyote, it is important to remember that Viagra has not been shown to be responsible for any of the deaths except for the possibility of those relating to precautions and contraindications listed on the Viagra label. Again, it is also important to note that the number of deaths reported so far is significantly less than the natural death rate for the age group taking Viagra.

coyote,first off Cardiovascular disease very often, if diagnosed early and treated with angioplasty or bypass may allow you to live another decade. If undiagnosed and untreated on the other hand you could be dead after shoveling snow one morning, or after sex, or after sex with Viagra: the jury, under appropriate expert medical opinion will determine that. So STD is a very loose term IMHO.
Secondly, the exact state of health of many victims of medical malpractice often is debatable; this is why people often settle out of court rather than get into a protracted fight in court,
