Greetings! Jack,

You made a very valid point in your last posting! I agree with you 100% when you indicated that you disliked the by-product of covering one's tracks! The old it's just my own opinion scenario!

I also agree with you that having some fun and laughter is important for the soul! The only challenge that I see that sometimes comes to the surface on the threads is that everyone's idea of humor or what's funny differs from others! ( Or at least in some cases!)--And we have seen some of the results! Sometimes people take it personal or too much to heart--I imagine it is dependent on how or what an individual feels about a certain topic--whether it's funny or not!

In your case, it took me a while to know when your kidding, and even though I've come a long way I still have a ways to go yet!

There is another scenario that could also affect peoples ability to relate to humor or otherwise on the threads! One factor may in fact be dependent on where one is at in their investment development!

As an example from what you have posted on this thread over the past year , it gives me the impression that you are a successful investor that has done exceptionally well with your investments!

Then there may be others like myself that are still learning/striving for bettor returns on our investments to achieve a more financially independent lifestyle!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.

and from MoneyNet, June 5:

WASHINGTON - The Surface Transportation Board appears likely to give rivals Norfolk Southern Corp and CSX Corp a chance to see whether they can divide Conrail Inc between them without creating the same mess that stained the last big rail merger.
