Bob, Not a time to be Long either!

I'll agree this is a wierd market. Since 4/10 the Index is up 3 points. At times like this it is critical to be right on the direction of individual stocks, because they are bouncing up and down like yo-yos.

However, these are the times we should relish. Yes, the Index looks a lot like last Fall to me. It is clearly moving sideways. But the incredible volatility creates great potential for profits (we'll ignore the potential for losses).

Last Fall, Bill dismissed my FA analysis techniques with a wave of his mouse. I didn't take it personal, and used it as a challenge to gain a better understanding of TA. If we have an understanding of the channels that the stocks are trading in (long-term and short-term), support, resistence, and retracement levels, we can use these periods to our advantage.

Yeah, interesting market. Possible weakness next week going into EXPIRY!

And note to Berney: I didn't discount YOU. My mouse discounts FA. I happen to agree with Murphy, FA is already in TA.
