Sounds like a fine plan, and I think you will find even more support than you have had, especially from those that cannot, or will not, sit and watch tickers all day.

Big Dog, I believe that PNEC is in your back yard. Close door to go knocking on. Small float, 5 significant press releases in past 6 weeks, good management, quality product, and will own a good chunk of the world CD music market in their field. Only up 100% in past 6 weeks, and when they hit NASDAQ shortly, it's bye-bye under $10. Should be an EASY 6 month triple or better. You probably own this too as we have chatted before.

You must be serious. Never seen you post that long. You're helping the folks as usual, but looking for more than a momentum plan. Like what you're saying and with you all the way.

I have watched your activities for the past few months and have been impressed with your degree of success and amazing energy level. I knew that I could never keep up with your pace. But I also realized that I could adopt my pace to include some of your picks and hold them IE ICVI.

This whole internet investing is evolving on a daily basis, and my own trading habits have changed drastically since April when I cashed out of some BRK.B and then with my new cable modem and the desire not to travel so much decided to try a more aggresive trading approach. I began lurking more at SI and jumped on some good ones and some not so good ones. I have another business to run, so if I'm busy with other things, I'll take a look in the morning and do other things. My goal as of two months ago was to find one good stock per month for a 4-5 bagger. 1st month was PNLK $1.38 to $7.25 and now ICVI $.24 to whatever. Next month NUKE, AMGV who knows. I hope I can continue to meet my goals. If I keep listening to you and Joe Copia maybe I can. TMEX also has good picks, but they seem to be more short term, and macker is pretty hot right now as well.

I agree totally with your statement <it is true that the strength of many is better than the strength of one.> and it seems like this approach works better for the group when it is a mid to long term play. But even then someone always buys at the high and doesn't cut their losses when things do go south. In my short time here PNLK was the first stock I was involved in where a large group working together impacted a stock dramatically. Then the rocketeers with DGIV, INFE & ICVI. Then the TEXN and DIXS that you and TMEX and Joe bought into together. These plays are still going on, but just for the perspective of what the end of the growth cycle looks like with this approach I went to the PNLK thread tonight to see what was going on there, and found many there who became long term investors when the shorters hit the stock, and they chose to wait rather than sell. The good news is that no one was complaining that someone hyped the stock and then it fell on them. On the other hand the business plan hasn't had time to generate any revenue and without any true revenue to support the stock price it has fallen hard. One guy actually talked his parents into buying a chunk at over $7, I hope for his sake that PNLK does succeed with their plan. Please no nasty PM's, I'm not bashing PNLK, if things settle down and they start generating some revenue and fix the web site so I can register my business I will get back in.

I'm sorry if this is so long and drawn out, my kids have been bothering me to get off the computer and tuck them in. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I can understand how you might be getting a bit weary of the daily scramble. So to modify an often repeated slogan, Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered, and pigs who run around like nuts get tired. Not that you are a pig, not that there is any thing wrong with being a pig. But if you are going to make us all pigs on mid to long term plays that can attract a large following count me as one of your supporters.

There now I can tuck my kids in and go to bed. I guess we are both into rambling messages tonight.

I'm personally fed up with this momentum trading stuff ..It always seems to be a hit or miss proposition..
I have a long list of stocks that I got burned in recently..such as TSIG,ISDN,SYCR,AWEB,FLOS,GZON,IFLYW,PLNM,MINT,MUCP etc..the list goes on..You get the picture.

The winners are far and few between.

I like your idea of finding the diamonds in the ruff and holding for long term. That is how you make the big bucks.

Looking forward to your long term picks

Regards

Dog...I've been waiting to here this from somebody. I'm a little tired of following stocks that have mood swings that make my wife look calm.

About a month ago..I picked up MVEE..and was scared to death to tell the world what it would do. Even when a quality stock gets into the hands of these threads..they become leftovers a few days later.

Before I followed this thread my money was made with only known small cap Nasdaqs.....It took more money to play the game..but the results were more than I imagined.

Penny stocks need to be bought..and kept......even if you sell to get back your original investment...you've done the same as never having invested...better than worse.......but not better than good..(think about that one for a while)

All week watched the talk on these threads....needed a new dictionary to figure out what the people were saying.......everybody was bent on motivating others to buy more of something..

Short this short that..squeeze this squeeze that....up this up that....mfmm this mfmm that......float this float that.........
It's all Heifer Snot (the Opposite of Bull Shit for those of you with no farm backgrounds)

If a 3 cent stock is going to be worth 2 dollars..it would be great for that to happen next week ...but if I own 100,000 shares....so what if it happens next Christmas.

If these threads are to profit due to mass buying......mass knowledge....perfect timing etc...It will only work with med to long termers......unles we continue to want to steal from the poor to give to the rich. Or take from the slow to give to the quick.

Shoot1st.......say when.

What I believe we saw was the MM's massive WALK DOWN games to induce panic selling. Those in penny stocks see it all the time, and it usually happens on the third heavy trading day. This happens as MM's try to get people out of the stock and so they (MM) can recover that NAKED INVENTORY that they sold to shareholders. I saw the same thing happen in RMIL on our third heavy buying day, but soon afterwards the stock headed to the $4 before the really big games kicked in and some sold a little in panic to protect a paper profit.

A steady heavy buying pattern with no selling by shareholders is the key to raising the overall shareholder value in any security.

Riley G

PS. No this is not a call your certificates play, there is way to much stock in this market to do that, but those wishing to own their own certificates may want to do so...

BIG DOG:
Are you saying your going to move up to new larger quarters in a classier part of town, with longer lasting furnishings and a guest house to boot? More in line with your stature. You've earned it! Maybe you could call it "THE DOG HOUSE". Everyone needs to upgrade from time to time.
Jimbo

BTW:You could always move someone from the BIG HOUSE to the guest house if they are misbehaving or just in transit.

Good For You Mike!!! I have been a lurker on SI for several
weeks.. this is the first post I have made. I joined SI as
another resource for DD. What I hadn't counted on was the
education I would get from some "Key Leaders" on this site.
I bookmarked what I considered three of the "smartest cookies"
on SI. GaBard, Joe Copia and yourself. I have learned a lot
from you three gentlemen and am very grateful.

I was off work this last week and for the first time had a
chance to watch you and your group in action all week. I
will admit it was more then tempting to join the bandwagon.
There were two reasons I didn't:

1. I am a single Mom with limited funds to invest. I'm not
experienced enough to know when to get in and out on
day trades. If I had followed the group I probably
would have been the one sitting on the high side of the
stock while everyone else was long gone with their
profits. I wonder how many people out there watching
you didn't fight the temptation and are in that position
now? My point here is.. you aren't just a leader for
experienced momentum players.

2. I have seen what the momentum plays have done to
stock I really really believed in. It may be a
quick profit for some.. but it has set back my
daughters future college fund almost 25%. Oh I
know.. the next news release will probably push
it back up. But just think what it would have
pushed to without the drop.

Well, I didn't mean to write a book. I just wanted you to
know I am behind you all the way!! I am willing to support
your new ventures.. I will even be glad to help you with
your research! There are a lot of people out there like myself
that have money and willing to support good companies getting started. Pooling our funds to build a solid foundation for the companies with the most potential could only bring LONG Term Gains!!

Wise move. And you're getting lots of support. Just this morning, I'd decided to remove the Dog House bookmark; decided that, while momo's are fun, it's just not for me. I'll stick with you, and look forward to your future pick(s).

Dog - Impressive sentiment! And one I think most others share. I too, have become weary of the frantic nail-biting and wondering when to get out to preserve a measly 20-30 percent on a trade. Let's find something and stick with it. And to all reading the thread, aid in the selection process with your own DD.

You tha man, Dog...

I'm sure that other position traders such as myself welcome your new stance...

Just a thought: why not call on some of the expertise on this thread for collective DD? Use your contacts & research to make a short list and then release it to the board (or use PM/email) for a fine tooth comb effect...the final choice could still be your call after you have seen all the research results...

no reason you should have to do all the work for our benefit...
