I have watched your activities for the past few months and have been impressed with your degree of success and amazing energy level. I knew that I could never keep up with your pace. But I also realized that I could adopt my pace to include some of your picks and hold them IE ICVI. This whole internet investing is evolving on a daily basis, and my own trading habits have changed drastically since April when I cashed out of some BRK.B and then with my new cable modem and the desire not to travel so much decided to try a more aggresive trading approach. I began lurking more at SI and jumped on some good ones and some not so good ones. I have another business to run, so if I'm busy with other things, I'll take a look in the morning and do other things. My goal as of two months ago was to find one good stock per month for a 4-5 bagger. 1st month was PNLK $1.38 to $7.25 and now ICVI $.24 to whatever. Next month NUKE, AMGV who knows. I hope I can continue to meet my goals. If I keep listening to you and Joe Copia maybe I can. TMEX also has good picks, but they seem to be more short term, and macker is pretty hot right now as well. I agree totally with your statement <it is true that the strength of many is better than the strength of one.> and it seems like this approach works better for the group when it is a mid to long term play. But even then someone always buys at the high and doesn't cut their losses when things do go south. In my short time here PNLK was the first stock I was involved in where a large group working together impacted a stock dramatically. Then the rocketeers with DGIV, INFE & ICVI. Then the TEXN and DIXS that you and TMEX and Joe bought into together. These plays are still going on, but just for the perspective of what the end of the growth cycle looks like with this approach I went to the PNLK thread tonight to see what was going on there, and found many there who became long term investors when the shorters hit the stock, and they chose to wait rather than sell. The good news is that no one was complaining that someone hyped the stock and then it fell on them. On the other hand the business plan hasn't had time to generate any revenue and without any true revenue to support the stock price it has fallen hard. One guy actually talked his parents into buying a chunk at over $7, I hope for his sake that PNLK does succeed with their plan. Please no nasty PM's, I'm not bashing PNLK, if things settle down and they start generating some revenue and fix the web site so I can register my business I will get back in. I'm sorry if this is so long and drawn out, my kids have been bothering me to get off the computer and tuck them in. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I can understand how you might be getting a bit weary of the daily scramble. So to modify an often repeated slogan, Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered, and pigs who run around like nuts get tired. Not that you are a pig, not that there is any thing wrong with being a pig. But if you are going to make us all pigs on mid to long term plays that can attract a large following count me as one of your supporters. There now I can tuck my kids in and go to bed. I guess we are both into rambling messages tonight.
