Mike, That was one of the most sincere posts I've seen for a while. I receive your mailings and have watched, listened and learned. Working a more than full-time job I/We do not have the ability to daytrade. Instead I let the wave pass and tried to research why the stock started to move in the first place. For me this has been valuable information. You have to decide what to DD and if one starts moving that's as good a place as any to start.

Debra had a slow day at work this week. I saw your note on elcc. We missed the .5 by a second or two. I decided not to chase. We left the order open and I asked Debra to watch while I went back to work. I checked once or twice and finally said "that's it, I see the downturn" to myself. Canceled my order and went back to work. Debra must have woken up from her nap at work and saw the .40's. Her thoughts were "there goes another couple of hundred". She signed onto the broker and found the order canceled. She called and asked "how did you know?". She was very happy. All I could say was "I'm learning".

I caught the change in your investment style and changed (or ignored) accordingly. I did however, find some places to start with companies I did not know. Many of your picks were well founded and you should, possibly, revisit some of them for your revived investment style.

This post has renewed my faith in what we have adopted as our investment style. Debra commented to me that the ones I really believed in have done the best. Simply put, she's right.

Looking forward to sharing some good mid to long term picks,

Jeff & Debra(now asleep)

Big Dog--Did the TVSI action have anything to do with this change in philosophy or was it just one of many things?

The DGIV,ICVE,INFE triumvirate seem to be to MOMO players what methadone is to heroin addicts...but honestly, how often do you see them with respect to rollers?

That is why BTS seems to be a terrific compromise approach to ensure some shares are there for the run, without risk to profits.

BTW, with respect to those three stocks, they all had some serious commitment to them by the Rocketeers, with very deep pockets to provide support at every dip. While hindsight is always 20/20, all the DD in the world could have been replaced by simply watching where they posted. Simple but effective.

Wonder how many people have them bookmarked right now?

TG

Holy Canoli! Great post. If you are sincere and I think you are, welcome to a better fold of investing We will all benefit for sure. Fact is, I would always look at some of your picks and play a few of them later. Some were really good - but there is nothing like a company that is both undervalued and has great fundamentals.

Good luck.........Norms

BIG DOG

I respect your post and hope you are sincere. That is the way things should be here on SI. If not you have a lot of inexperienced people
getting burned and hurt, and that is no fun to make money when you
see all the people getting hurt as you make money. Is it?

I think that people can change if they want to bad enough. I think you will ultimately feel much better about yourself and create some
incredible friends along the way. The friends that you make along
the way are what will make it all worthwhile to you.

I do believe the UNIFIED WAY is the best way to go. The Unified Way
everyone wins not just those who got in first...

To much prosperity to all!! Here is a high five across the air waves!! Go for it Big Dog!!
