Chuz,

Good points. Packard Bell has never turned much of a profit, but has managed to build market share - until recently, and has made life miserable for everyone else in the consumer market especially CPQ. PB looks to be on the ropes, recently shutting two assembly plants. I haven't seen anyone predict PB's days are numbered, yet the ship has a pronounced list. CPQ could very well have entered the sub-zero market in order to apply the coup de grace.
