Update from Pacific Consulting. I had a conversation with Chris--he has put together a packet of information on Tava for CNBC and another stock market channel--can't remember which one---for consideration on some upcoming y2k programs, also he is pushing for an appearance on Squak Box, but he made it clear to me that this IS NOT a sure thing. He's getting the management of Tava together with the Gartner group to get them updated on all the recent developments in the past several months and making sure that Tava gets more recognition by the institutions. Scott left for New York on Thursday --there are 15 different institutions that will be individually presented to---some big name ones and some smaller that I haven't heard of. The road show will be Monday through Wednesday. I asked him about the utility connection and if we could expect to have contracts with the Beck partnership. He indicated that we would, but couldn't give any details.
In general, I got the feeling, that those that get impatient will be kicking themselves in a few months. Some institutions have recently taken a large position---one is Lord Abbott, with aprx 900,000 shares. The Dreyfus fund is still holding 650,000 shares. Chris shares my belief that toward the end of this year and the first quarter of 99, the real momentum will hit the y2k sector. Jan
