Vitas, I am using Meta Stocks Indicator which is calculated as follows:

Cum( Mov(C,19,EXPONENTIAL) - Mov(C,39,EXPONENTIAL) )

This indicator is applied to a composite created by subtracting the Adv Issues from the Decl Issues. I am loading records dating back to 1979.

Does this sound right??? It sure does seem to give me NEAR PERFECT buy & sell signals based on history.

I am also using some moving averages OF THE INDICATOR looking for crosses which seems to give a better picture.

By the way, would you happen to have data for 10/27/97 thru 11/03/97 for the following: NYSE Advancing Issues NYSE Declining Issues NYSE Advancing Volume NYSE Declining Volume. I would like to check my data.

Vita, Are you manually calculating this or does your charting software handle it for you.
