I agree that the strike will have a negative short term affect on the stock price. Some firms on Wall Street indicated that they would lower expected earnings, again short term. The lower end of your range (72) may be too high. A pullback to the high 60s is not out of the question.

The Autos will not do well when Asia starts dumping their auto's
in mass here. GM & the others also forfeited future earnings by giving away the store with incentives and 0% financing.

This strike is going to be a nasty one, the Flint workers have absolutely nothing to lose and will play it that way. IMHO a minimum of two weeks without any national GM production.
