Look at the correlation of earnings to market value for NOVL through the link below. The same correlation as applied to CSCO is as low as .39% which tranlates to close to nothing. There is also a graph which shows the accuracy of these sell side estimates even if one assumed that earnings did corrolate with market value - again very dissappointing. I am on a crusade to dipsel this earnings myth (although msot brokerages, I/B/E/S and First Call may hate me for it).
