I recall reading somewhere that OE was now declining to participate on chat lines. Which is consistent with everyone else. I think they're afraid the SEC would say that's NOT making info available to all investors, even though I disagree - the internet is at virtually all libraries. Plus, look at the info they'll share with you if you take the time to call - now THAT seems more like info not available to all investors (even though it isn't either).

Declining to participate is exactly what I expect companies to say though - remember when I was the only one here who was shocked Steve Hill did participate? IT WAS very unusual. I know this won't be a popular remark, but although Steve did share all sorts of info about what was going on with DI, he missed the boat completely on announcements.

Steve Hill commenting on the thread, I believe, is more an exception than the rule. In fact, I was surprised when I did see his comments. We should not expect shareholder relations to continue on this thread, it generally not done. Besides, we would not want an error to occur, ie. a misstatement, that could jeopardize any relations with current negotiations or established customers. We all appreciated Steve Hill's contributions, and we would like this relationship to continue, but the risks can be high. There is no reason why we cannot e-mail the company with questions or call shareholder relations. We then can share the info. on this thread. If you notice on OE website, they want all inquires addressed to Mr Kim Schlunke, Chief Executive Officer. It use to be Steve's name or his e-mail address. I think negotiations are in the final stages and very sensitive. Any misstatements could be very risky.

There are OE'ers out there that cannot post to SI so from time to time I'll post their messages.

Pierre

I follow your oe web site and the SI thread almost daily. I am long on OE and have been for some time. I still have faith in the company and think we will do all right in the end. I would apprecitae it if you could post to SI that there are people like me who can't post to SI but follow the excellent information posted there. I especially like the information that Maverick finds. If you could let the regulars there know that their work is of value to others I would apreciate it.

Regards
