Heck Jeff I duuno all I know is the ref fuel was 88 octane and they tested it out at 120 - 168. I have to rely on Gordon Stuntz's posts because that is hos area.

Bottomline is whatever they are using it got Exxon to request it for testing and I am sure other big companies too. We just have to wait and see. I do not know what streams were used.

So I can;t answer your questios you will need to address it to someone with a chemist background.

Up until now I was under the impression that DF-144 is added to gasoline made from petroleum. Is that correct, or does it only work when added to ethanol based fuel?
