MOT is close to 4-yr low of $45. John, I totally agree with you that
MOT will be a great investment at its current price. I believe MOT
will be forced to separate the semi-business from the other. MOT will
utimatley be bought out by LU/ERICY. Just my personal opinion.

John 2 things HAVE to happen before this stock will rise.
1. New Management - Current management has proven its incompetence over and over again.
2. Enough Time has to pass after that to allow the mistakes current mgmnt made to play out, and a new business plan to be implemented.

MOT has lost the lead to many other companies in almost all aspects of their business. One doesn't turn around in a few months or a year, 4-5 years worth of errors. Sure there may be a pop or two left in this one, but the trend is down, and will continue to be so over the next year (or at least until mgmnt is kicked out, and new mgmnt is hired). As a disclaimer, I went short yesterday @ 52 1/8 (just a small position, as I was shocked by the upgrade and the fact the stock opened up, and conceived the possibility of a pop to 55, where I woulda shorted a ton). Didn't anyone find it interesting that with a strong market and a huge last hour rally, that even after the upgrade, MOT closed at the low of the day?

Tero on the Nokia thread has an interesting take on the warning
