Another question about the IBM OEM issue - if IBM has what appears to be an older generation FC switch - why did they use third generation Ancor switches for their Global Services backup project? What would be the advantage of an Ancor third generation switch over the IBM switch? Although it does not specify - my assumption is that the IBM switch was fully optimized for class 1 service - like the older Ancor switches and not for class 2/3.
