It's true that we may sometimes seem more like a club or cult than smart investors, but the fact is we are neither club nor cult, just a group of people who share certain common investment goals. Foremost among them being the belief that in the long run we can do much, much better by sticking with and supporting a qualified fast-growth BB company than by daytrading the hell out of whatever's hot this week. As you can imagine, there are long periods where we have no news or sometimes even bad news. The Rocketeer fantasy helps us maintain interest and morale at such times, and gives us a unique way to celebrate the good times--that's all. Perhaps it's time we did what was done on the DGIV thread and consolidate our DD and informational posts on another thread that we can point to when someone like TC comes along.
