<< I find it extremely hard to believe that no one has had a close up view of the cores, and if a diamond of any description fell out, I sense the stock would be higher... I will not be any thing other than cautious... >>

A caution is a key word here... They told Joe that Ashton wants 2 more drill holes because the Kassama is so large, and the results could take 6-8 weeks, because Ashton is backed up with other projects.

My comment is this... What difference two more drill holes are going to make if they already have tons of cores to analyze? Ashton's priorities would have changed in a heartbeat if they had found anything interesting in those cores. They know they have nothing tangible and they try to buy more time. The MKM stock is tanking in the meantime... as the market is reading Mink's situation correctly. The Mink's management plays the same old game as before: "no news is good news". They might not have any official news to announce, but they have plenty of unfavorable material information that they're not releasing to their shareholders, and that is against the securities laws. How could they get away with it for so long? Maybe because Mink shareholders are not complaining in any official form, except for venting their feelings in the cyberspace. The Mink's management has been using this material information delay tactics for years now, and probably for a noble reason: to protect their stock price. The latter is tanking nevertheless... as the stock market is unforgivable and have an elephant memory. Does anyone remember how many years did it take Mink to publish not too stellar drill results from the gold side. To date, they have found nothing stellar on the diamond side either. They try to use the old delay tactics again. It did not work before, and it does not work now... the stock is plummeting irregardless. It is clear to me that someone knows something and acts on it accordingly.

Now... let's see if George S. comes back to feed us with some more concrete information. If he does not, consider your Mink investment as just another Vegas play.

P.S. On a bright side, I don't believe a word I just wrote... I was only playing the "devil's advocate" and doing a little brainstorming. Let's see if someone else can come up with a better explanation of what is going on with Mink. :-))
