Eric:

Its interesting that on Friday Novell just announced a very significant share buy back program, and there are still people out there bad mouthing this announcement. Hmmm, if anyone wants to see the most genuine form of "insider" buying by Novell, it was the decision by the BOD to buy back up to 10% of Novell's outstanding shares.

Now sure, they could use part of their billion to pay for the costs of the San Jose construction project, but can you think of a better investement in equities for Novell at this present time in the lengthy bull market run?? Heck, I can see Novell doubling by early 1999, and hence, that buyback would represent an incredibly wise investment decision by the BOD who must believe that Schmidt, his vision and leadership, and his company (team) have a very bright future.

Just my unbiased 2 cents worth ;-)
