Ron..and TOM. You actually have a point. I reread the TOM posts with zeal. I think it was very clear that when TOM was down 1 9/16 in the morning it was time to get out. I personally don't feel that responsible for not posting when TOM began it's downswing, I was following it tick by tick and wanted to do damage control. TOM was a great trade all last week and I've always purported not holding through earnings. As for 'advertising' marketgems on marketgems thread, I've already been given the 'go ahead' from those in command. so I take it you have a personal peeve with that. It is understandable. The only other complaint I've ever gotten from over 500 e-mail in the last month was from another 'popular' poster on the Z thread. So out of 500 I get 2 complaints from poster on the z-thread. Lots of lights going on in my head on that one......SInce you have a website and are doing similar projects maybe your reaction is typical and I won't spell it out. You understand my jist. ..... there is a saying. If you can do than do if you can't do than criticize.

Posters. I've read and reread Ron's post and could only conclude that his intention on posting was self-serving and not for the benefit of Silicon Investor's posters. He posts on another thread, which paradoxically, I enjoy reading and the motivations of his posts I find suspect. Especially in light of the fact that they have their own portfolio, website, etc.

Posting daily updates was interesting in the last few weeks, especially since I've taken a hiatus from market gems chat room so I could work on my project. Intraday updates were fun for me and helpful for posters. I thought it made for more interaction on the thread in real time and I've seen that other posters have been doing the same for months now. Well I've decided nonetheless not to post my personal positions any longer nor the gains on the watch lists (which others have posted regularly). I will let the watch lists speak for themselves. I would also recommend that none of you post personal gains either or the gains of your watch lists. We are not a forum for self aggrandizement. Watch Lists can stand by themselves...

Continue to post criticisms and analyses but refrain from comments like: I got 2 points out this, or ran this one up or got in at this and this point... We all do it but let's try to refrain. I'll set the first example by just posting my watch lists in the morning and newsworthy items I come across with during the day
