You're of course right. But believe me: SI doesn't get upset about these kinds of legal threats. Brad's told me they've had gazillions; their lawyers say not to worry. Same goes, I should think, for any individual. People who feel threatened get nutso. Look at the CSHK morons. For awhile they said huffily that they'd been in touch with Corporate Counsel with a view to.... What? Nothing, I imagine, as we've never written anything libellous. Gotta remember that people on the shady side of the World of Finance still think that those of us who exchange information online are idiots. So they, too, assume they can frighten us with their threats. Won't work, most of the time. Unfortunately--and this is why this thread exists--there really ARE a lot of Total Assholes on SI, and even more at Yahoo. Wish we could do something about it, but I can't think what, except to shoot 'em.
