The first Divx units carry the brand-name of Glenview-based [ Zenith Electronics Corp. ] , and the electronic guts come from Zenith's parent, [ LG Electronics Corp. ] William Sims, president of Zenith Sales Co., the sales and marketing arm of Zenith Electronics, said Divx "does not make standard DVD obsolete. We view it as an enhancement, as a value-added feature."
