I watched him .. He was pointing a day count from some "key" point on his chart that resulted in 5/12 as being some top. What I found interesting was that he was looking at a chart that highlighted the nice round S&P top .. I don't think that he set any deadline, but did say that we need to set new highs.

The statement that caught my attention was "If we can manage to go over, intraday, the high set of 9312, even one tick, then the bull isn't dead." He may have stopped counting waves and stepped back to look at the bigger picture.

I guess that it is kinda hard to go on national TV and say "the bull is (or may be) dead"
