Rainier,

Ok, thanks. What do you think about TFCE?

Hello Rainier,

I just read the last 100 messages or so of this thread and absolutely love it. It seems that you and I have similar pasts being relatively the same age (I'm 22) and trying every strategy of investing/trading out there before happening onto a techno-fundamentalist approach.

I think that I may buy a little earlier than you (while a stock is basing) while you wait for the uptrend to begin, is that true?

Here are a couple of stocks I've been looking at or currently own that I would like your opinion on if you have time.

1. CHKPF - Checkpoint Software. The market for security software is projected to grow at leaps and bounds and this is the leader. My question on this one is if you consider it out of a downtrend. The gaps down confuse me and do you draw a trendline between the last two short-term highs before the gap down?

2. SIGM - Sigma Designs: Makes decoder boards and chips for dvd-rom and streaming video over corporate intranets and the internet. Seems to have broken the steep downtrend it was under on its run from 9 to 3 during the Asia meltdown at the end of last year. Popping up recently. Poor earnings history, but seems to be shaping up nicely.

3. ORFR - Again, I'm not sure if I draw the trendlines correctly. Do you consider this stock to be out of the woods? This is the leader in Satellite testing and is projected to grow at leaps and bounds compared to its P/E.

Thanks in advance and I will probably have many more questions for you in the future!
