Well... while I was tanking up, the MKM stock price was sinking to all time low again... not the other way around as my previous note might have suggested :-)).

The stock closed only one penny above the previous low on the total volume of 55.9K. It was one of the largest Mink's daily trade volumes this year. CT International was the big seller at a low price. The same house bought a lot of shares on 3/20/98 at 50 cents. I don't know who's behind CT International, but if the same folks sold last Friday, who bought last March, they lost 50% of their investment. Maybe they figured it is better to lose 50% than everything. Well, I guess I'll wait until Mink hires another cheaply compensated cyberbitch to spread another layer of manure. In the meantime, I'll be buying all the shares at 5 cents an below. After all, all those single diamonds might have come from somewhere (assumming they were not deliberately planted... does anyone remember BRE-X?). I've heard that the original Mali concession was a size of the New England. I think Mink gave back a half of it in the meantime, but it is still a very large area to explore. Considering the way they've been doing it, it might take many years before they find anything. If they spread the manure skillfully enough, they might raise the whole new generation of suckers... an endless cycle in the investment world. Good luck to all! -am
