I also believe that the stock buyback plan was announced to help combat the large short position. Can anyone clarify the short position for me - last stated I think it was 1.5m+ short. I also firmly believe that INFE mgt want to reward shareholders and demonstrate that they are bullish on the short and long term prospects of the company.

I have a question for the group - if INFE does buyback 500k shares or so, how will that combat the short position? Is it a fear tactic against the shorts? will mgt call all shares in Tom's name? does it increase attention for the SEC to take a closer look at what is happening? Is it a poker hand against the MM(s) who would artificially keep the price down...what does everyone think???? Bottom line is that i see it as a first step of many steps of action to raise the share price to where it should be.
