TO ALL and RavenCrazy's friend!! PLEASE READ if you can stay awake for the whole thing that is. imo.. that person should simply decide for themselves whether the stock is undervalued at current levels or not.. if they believe the stock is undervalued and has the potential to move up..then whether they buy in at $1.00 or $0.75 it shouldn't be an issue.. sure we'd all love to know what the exact bottom of a stock dip is so we could get the best price.. but let's face it.. no one knows.. if EVERYONE KNEW 100% that $1.00 was the lowest this stock was going to go.. then EVERYONE would have picked up more shares this week.. the fact is that many people are a little nervous.. some more than others.. that just comes with the territory of investing in 1) a penny stock 2) a penny stock that happens to be brand new with limited info available.. That person you're referring to is investing his/her OWN money.. they need to do what they are comfortable with.. I or anyone else could say, "ICVI is NOT going under $1.00 so you should BUY BUY BUY" .. but let's face it.. if we're wrong and ICVI does dip under $1.00 would anyone be willing to give this person the difference in $$$$ they lost by taking our advice.. I doubt it.. tell that person to assume NO NEWS and to focus on what they've read thus far on ICVI (mountain energy) and to call the company and do what DD they can.. if they feel the stock is undervalued.. then it would make sense to buy at current levels and not risk trying to time the news.. if they think that a dip below $1.00 is imminent.. and they don't yet trust the DD.. then they should wait.. I've heard news is coming very soon.. but even if I'd heard that no news was coming at all this upcoming week.. I still would have done what I did and accumulated more ICVI all last week. Like with INFE.. I finally got back into INFE on Thursday.. feeling that the stock has the potential to realize some significant gains above and beyond what it's already had over the next several weeks.. I bought in at $4 5/8 thursday.. stock tanked minutes after I bought and is now at 3 5/8 and may even go down a bit more.. who knows.. was I upset.. sure.. am I selling or blaming anyone other than myself.. NO.. why?? because it was my decision..and if I thought the stock was undervalued at 4 5/8 then why would I sell at 3 5/8?? Fundamentally nothing changed during that time frame.. other factors contributed to the drop in price.. so I'm holding.. and will probably pick up some more and average down... that's just what I AM doing.. your friend should do what is rigth for him/her.. news will probably be here early this week.. but don't look forward to the news for the sake of "having news".. look forward to it because you're anxious to find out more about what the company is doing and what kinds of fundamental things have been added or taken away.. it's interesting to me that over the last few THOUSAND posts.. I've yet to read anything about the last press release.. what more or less happened .. was "WOW!!! look at this news.. AWESOME! I'm buying MORE!" and then the next statements were.. "OKAY.. when's the next news due out"... Folks we're talking about $200 million in assets and a company mgmt team with dozens of years of experience in their industry.. we've had people in the business that MTEI is in .. come online and post that Jack Uselton is a well known and respected individual.. many people have talked w/ the company and have informed us of Jack's character.. which may not hold a whole lot of credibility with most.. but certainly if people said that they didn't really trust the guy.. you'd like to know that wouldn't you. Here people.. let's read and understand this again.. Mountain Energy is in the business of doing a few different things .. but for the most part it's about having a technology that allows oil/gas companies to find reserves that have been passed over due to improper detection technology.. MTEI is also working to acquire more properties and growing itslef rapidly.. this of course is why they wanted to take over ICVI so they could become a publicly traded company and have much more leverage in acquisitions or future mergers that might take place.. here's more on that.. <<<<<Mountain sees an opportunity to attain growth and shareholder value through strategic acquisitions of proved oil and gas properties located primarily throughout Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast onshore and offshore in water less than 50' in depth and the Mid-Continental Region of the United States. Many Gulf Coast oil and gas fields have never been evaluated with advance logging tools that can detect previously overlooked and untested hydrocarbon-bearing formations that lie behind casing pipe. Most of the major oil and gas fields Gulf Coast region were discovered between 1930 and 1970 and were logged with simple electric logging equipment. Wells were lined with steel casing down to the objective formation depth to prevent shallower formations from collapsing into the wellbore. Until the recent emergence of superior case hole logging technology and digital log re-processing, it was difficult to identify hydrocarbon bearing formations behind cased wellbores. The American Petroleum Institute estimates as much as 50 billion barrels of oil and gas equivalents have been passed over in the United States alone that may be developed using these new technologies. Mountain currently owns 30 separate properties in West Virginia with approximately 1,300 acres owned in fee and an additional 1,300 acres of mineral rights. Reserve estimates by the U.S. Geological Survey (''U.S.G.S.'') indicate in excess 10,000,000 tons bituminous coal. This low sulfur, low ash content, high BTU, clean burning currently sells for $25-$28 per ton. With cost of mining and transportation estimated at $11-$15 per ton, this will show a $10 per ton conservative net profit, (representing maximum cost to mine and minimum selling price), providing net asset value in excess of $100,000,000, with a potential of $170,000,000. The U.S.G.S. estimates also indicate in excess of 2 billion cubic feet of coal methane gas. This gas currently sells in excess of $3.00/MCF 1000 cubic feet. In most cases this gas is subject to an alternate fuel tax credit in excess of $3 MCF, for an estimated value of $5/MCF valued at $10,000,000. A separate reserve study has been commissioned by Independent Reservoir and Mining Engineers to arrive at a realistic present net asset value. History indicates that U.S.G.S. estimates usually represent 25 percent to 40 percent of actual minerals in place. The Company continues to acquire additional acreage in the area. >>>>> I'm sure you've ALL read and studied the press releases so you know what you're buying into for a friggin dollar per share.. you get at the MINIMUM a Book valued $2.85/share stock with $200 million AT LEAST in unrealized assets.. along with a ton of land holdings.. and blah blah blah.. you people just want to know the time and date of every press release.. maybe they should just put out a press release that says, <<Monday April 10th MTEI makes announcement.. We want to make an annoucement.. and so we did.. we should have other annoucement soon about future announcements>> Anyway that's what it seems like when people beg for the news and then when it comes they don't even wanna talk about it or explore it.. they just wanna know when the next one is coming.. Sorry, I'm not trying to attack any one person.. and certainly not attacking your friend RavenCrazy.. just trying to point out my observations that we should do as some of the "naysayers" are saying and talk more about the fundamentals.. although we don't have ALL the answers.. there's plenty of info readily available to support a higher stock price then we have right now.. that's my opinion.. but I stand behind that with more money in this stock than I've ever had in any stock I've ever owned.. I'm comfortable with my position here.. so folks.. for the sake of staying focused and for the sake of the newbies.. let's not let a THOUSAND posts go by without someone mentioning what this company does and why we're all here.. otherwise, this might as well be a shell again under ICVI.. I believe the majority of us have done the DD and trust it so we don't post it over and over.. and that's cool.. but to not post ANY conversation about the DD on the company at all is imho a big mistake.. MTEI is a great company.. let it be known by stating it in your posts and don't be afraid to back it up with your reasons.. I've probably left some thoughts unfinished.. but maybe someone else could add to or disagree with me.. Glad to be aboard.. and glad to have the Rocketeers and the TOP DOGgers all on one thread.. who can say that without this group or that group that we'd be where we are.. what matters is that by working together we've come along way.. and if we stay focused and responsible.. we should continue upwards.. My father always said, "never change a winning strategy".. I think most people got into this company because they really liked what MTEI had/has to offer.. but what good does it do us or the lurkers or the newbies if we let 3,000 posts go by before anyone stops to mention what MTEI does?? take care. jim
