The Globe and Mail Short report is historically interesting to small investors but, by being dated, it is not useful to our decision-making. Why?

When the financial house(s) behind small companies get an early warning of trouble, which they can get through their inside spies, usually a few days before you or I, they start dumping or shorting like mad. Reflect on those terrible down slopes on the charts of speculative companies and the huge volume of stock that suddenly comes loose and understand why they grow very rich and the little investor becomes generally poorer!

Of course, if all goes well, we are OK.
