Chico's had a very upbeat conference call after their release of earnings. Raymond James raised their estimate for this year to $.73 and $.90 for next year. Their second quarter estimate is $.25 followed by $.18 and then $.02. Dillon Reed raised their estimates to $.76 and $.98 next year, $.26 second quarter, $.18 third and .04 fourth. Both research updates had nothing but praise for Chico's turnaround and both have rated it a strong buy. RJ has set its target at 15.00 whereas Dillon thinks stock will reach $20.00. I'm in the $20.00 camp for I feel there is upside potential $.07-$.10 for this years estimates. Wall Street is dying for a good story to bite their teeth into and Chico's just might fit the bill. One must be impressed with the volume the past few days and it looks like retail stocks are back in demand. Chico's is still cheap today.

I averaged up on Chicos this week. I got into this one on a Peter Lynch theory - my wife loves to shop there, etc. etc . Anyway, CHCS was named the S&P Stock of the Week yesterday. Here's the link.

Good sign that this thread is not very popular. It seems sometimes like when a stock gets a lot of internet bb attention, the stock goes nowhere. Witness RADAF, and THQI a couple of my other favorites.
