"Citadel Technology Inc. is a developer and marketer of computer software products including
security and management utilities for networks and personal computers. The Company's products
are designed to secure and manage personal computers (PCs) and local area networks (LANs) and
enable network administrators to more efficiently manage the networks. Company products are
designed to reduce client costs, improve the accuracy of clients' information, maintain the operation
of the network, secure the network from fraud or unauthorized use, and generally enable the
administrator to devote more time to improving service to the network rather than focusing on
operational details. "

I tend to agree with you. The internet will be our main source of entertainment in the coming years.

Lets take a poll:

Question #1 If you had to give up all but one of the following which would it be? TV, Radio, Car, Computer

Question #2 If computer was chosen what is the most valued purpose of your computer? ie surfing the net, home finances, games, etc.

Question #3 Have you bought or made a buying decision based on information recieved while on the net?

I know this is a biased survey because we are all already online and heavily involved in using the net to our advantage, but, think back just 3 years. What were the answers to the above questions then.

I know in my case it was as little as one year.

My answers 1: computer 2: surfing 3: yes, many

With the advances being made in speed and modes of access to the internet it would seem to me that the popularity can only do one thing and that is expand exponentially. It is the link that was needed to bring the world together. I envision world wide free trade, world peace and unparalled technological advances in the next century. I believe this will happen due to the power of relationships. Relationships which are established via the internet. Maybe the trekkies were not that far off?

Sandra, I agree with you completly about the usage of the Internet, but the burning question remains profitability. While you compare the Internet stocks to a Gold Rush, I think that the Biotech bull market of a few years back may be a better comparison.

The Biotechs offered great potential but little to no earnings and ran way too much ahead of themselves. I see the same thing happening with the Internet stocks sooner or later, depending on market conditions.
