Glenn, i use this from Yhoo on the estimates. It's piped in from Zacks
biz.yahoo.com. Look at the earning estimates and concensus ESP trend Columns. It should help. There's EPS history with the % surprise too and more.

And yes, Sales less cost of goods sold. Gross profit or margin same thing.

Man possesses bad luck, too

ROANOKE, Va. - Four hours after being acquitted of a cocaine possession
charge, Tracey Faulkner was back in court - charged with possessing
cocaine. After a jury acquitted Faulkner, he was pulled over by an officer
who noticed expired license tags on his car. Police searched the car and
said they found cocaine. Prosecutor Tom Bowers, who handled the first
case, said he wasn't surprised that Faulkner was back in custody so soon.
