Pat & Amati Fans - Acatel buying DSC puts Acatel in CO's with Lucent's 5ESS's. The Acatel deal was announced the day after the BA ADSL announcement mentioning, Lucent, DSC and Westell.

In Monday's IBD mentions that Lucent can't do a pooling before September. I thought it was July and thought there might be a counter-offer. I don't know if they could make a pooling-of-interests counter-offer before September.
