Skeeter

I think you guys are missing the obvious.

TXN is losing money on its chip plant and tehy want to get rid of it.

Mu will buy it cheap with stock.

MU will then show the plant as an asset with a higher value. All they need to do is get the accounting firm to accept an appraisal that they arrange.

This will boost their Balance sheet and probably be in compliance with the bank requirements for the loan.

Stock will shoot up.

Next quarter, earnings will be bad.

They will blame it on a one time write off due to TXN acquisition.

Price goes up.

Next quarter its a new ball game.

There will be another gimmick.

I guarantee it (as the guy in the Men's warewhouse commercial says)

Mr. Bug
Don't you see it ?
(1) They have Lehi already.
(2) They fill Lehi with "cheap" used equipment from TXN !
(3) Why buy new equipment ?
(4) Hey ! Haven't you ever been to a garage sale ????
