Paul - I really think you need to get your head out of the sand regarding Compaq's plans for Alpha. Of course Compaq will aggressively develop their Intel-based server and workstation products. But they show every indication of putting significant additional resources into Alpha products in upcoming products. Of course, they are not in a position to discuss consolidated roadmaps or positioning of the DEC product line within the combined company yet. I hope your attitude is not reflective of Intel's view on the potential role of Alpha. Somebody needs to wake up.
