Dear Davef: You once, quite cavalierly and recklessly (I think), accused me of defaming Jeff Bruss. I found your accusation amusing, at the time, particularly in light of my knowledge and experience (most of which is documented for a later date) with Mr. Bruss and your claimed acquaintance. So, I tolerated your rantings against me, and in fact, enjoyed the banter, in an ill sort of way. However, I have tolerated your inclusion of my name within the list of folks to whom you ascribe some conspiratorial motivation long enough. You seem as cavalier and reckless in your accusations and conclusions involving the efforts you allege I've made to identify you, as you were with your threats and claims about Jeff Bruss. Perhaps, more. This post now borders on maliciousness, in my opinion. You have no facts to support your accusations against me. Not one single fact. I don't know who you are, have made absolutely no effort to find out, don't want to ever meet you...unless you push me to it. This post is the last one I want to see including my name in your tirades against those who have found your infantile rantings so entertaining. If there is more than that going on here (as you suggest of the thread participants who are not in love ACRT), sir, you'd better have facts to support your notions. This post is, beyond question, "defamatory per se", and if you include my name in such a post ever again (particularly one where you accuse me of criminal activity), you will not have heard the last of me, my friend. As far as I am concerned, if you bandy about my name with such baseless accusations of criminal misconduct, I'll pursue you in the civil forum of my choice. Understood? Sincerely, Jeffry White

Davef, Sorry to read about threats to you and your family. I may have attacked you on this thread, but that's where it stopped. There is no reason anyone should be stooping to something so low as to making threats to someone or their family. If their is an investigation I am not worried. I was not involved other than calling people boneheads and other things on this thread. Please leave my name off the list when you refer to any criminal activities, unless my posts here are considered criminal acts - I doubt it. As far as I know Jeffry and Jonathan were not involved, but I only know them through SI and have not conversed with them in person, on the phone or email - only through SI - so they may not be who they led me to believe they are. As for Don or Lloy, I can't vouch for them - but I don't think they are involved either. If these accusations are true, then Mr. Pink (or whoever it is) has sunk far too low for me to have any respect. They will deserve any punishment they get. There seems to be a lot more involved here than I thought, and a lot more money involved than I imagined. Again - I am truly sorry to hear your family was threatened. I guess I'd better be careful who I mouth off to in the future. Davef, ZMAN, trackman, Doug R, et al - I don't know any of you personally, if we did meet we might be friends, we might hate each others guts, I don't know - but most of what I've posted on this thread is just humorous jibberish - which at times was taken too seriously by some - but it was meant as humor none the less.
