Jon as far as I know only Bell Atlantic still carry the Q. Now that other manufacturers have a CDMA phone Qualcom's have vanished off the
shelf. Since Q is making royalty's on the other makes, and selling ASIC chips to all but Nokia it is less of a concern. I thhink a rampup for the new phones is occuring. Does anybody knows who else sells ASIC
chips other then NOKIA,and Qualcom?. I heard an announcement that VLSI
has started production. Greg are you aware of who else is in process of making new ASIC chip. How will this compete with QCOM. Also I would assume they have no patent for ASIC? In Motorolla latest announcement the said they were now willing to buy ASICS from a Korean co. Is this company affiliated with Q?
