these guys and gals don't have a clue what amzn will be doing 4 months from now. 2
years is an absolute absurdity.

This is obvious. A case in point is my own business which has been around for twenty years. I have a reasonable idea as to how this year will turn out depending upon the Christmas season. I still could not project an earnings number closer than 5%.

I have no idea what competition will move into the area by next year or the following year. I have no idea what the economy will be like or the demand for jewelry. I would even guess earnings for the year 2000. Yet, I am as much an insider as possible and my business has a history on which numbers may be based. Amazon has nothing from which to base numbers. They have increasing debt, competition, losses, etc. How can one possibly figure a loss or earnings number for the year 2000?
