Handshake; I know MIDN won't benefit at DAYs expense, in
fact it's very likely if you see DAY fall from grace , MIDN will
surly soon follow. Looking at the two, and all the press releases,
if DAY is a bunch of hucksters , then MIDN is even more so.
I'm not happy with either of them. They are not really on a seesaw,
as much as in the same boat, a fight for who sits in the bow is
stupid and will hurt them both, & likely MIDN the most.
The way the pecking order goes down in third world countries,
only the local DONs will benefit in a scrabble between MIDN and
DAY. I'm not a gold bug but have extensive experience with dealings
in third world countries, and the way the back street black market
works. MIDN is the smaller of the two , and fair don't mean anything,
I'm amazed that most people haven't caught on to the fact that if
your going to survive at all down there you don't start crap with
who could be your ally. That just plays into the hand of the
Local mob, and is plain stupid.
You want to get a good look at how things work, take a long look
at the history of getting Gold out of Africa at a profit,
( the privet army's and all needed ) the ability to deal with and
hire mercenaries. It's all part of the game, or you get plucked
like a chicken, ( forget getting justice in a court , it's sold
to the highest bidder )
I've said before; this MIDN vs DAY thing is a killer, and it will
hurt them both but KILL MIDN first, and that's a fact. DAY can't
afford to let MIDN try to push them around and they know that.

There are other forces who will just jump in and then pluck them
both. Things are tough in third world counties, and even the
agents will sell you out in a heart beat. For MIDN to try to carry
a vs Day thing to any kind of conclusion other than a "non public"
agreement, they are shooting themselves in the foot, and acting
like a bunch of rank amateurs.

Forget the gold and the claims ,
they need some one who knows how to go down and size up the
local hoods, and find the local pecking order, ( keep in mind most
of the politicians are not the real power down there ) mend any broken fences with DAY and help one another to at least to cover their backside.

There are several types of TAXES you pay in these deals
just to get the gold out ( some of them hidden ), and these TAXES
can and will eat up profits faster than the cost of mining, if you
don't know how to limit them.
In short to come out you have to understand the art of how to play
the local criminals against one another, and don't think for a minute they are not there, and that they wont be trying to do the same to you.

If you want to eventually see MDIN stock go to zero where all it is good for is wall paper, tell them to keep up their stupid war with DAY. What ever made those idiots think they could buy up some paper
and just go in and start mining gold is beyond me. Do you have
any idea what the black market currency exchange is down there.
Not the official exchange rate , ( that's a joke ). I have't been
to Chile, but I don't have to go there to know it's not what
it seems. I do know that most arm chair accountants have got no idea
of how to handle the unofficial "BITE" , and you better have some
men in the field that can analyze this and are as good at it
as the geologist you have.
MDIN in their press releases only proved to me that they were
naive in this area.
