Mr Metals, Walshs' credibility will hinge on his insider sales. If he sold all his holdings at the heights and can be shown to have had a short position prior to the fall then he will have the "badge" of a crook. If however he sold only a portion and had no shorts this will act to exculpate him to a degree. The theory being that a crook would have maximised(by selling all and shorting) and an honest founder can be allowed to sell some shares for profit as long as he keeps most of them.
