I don't think that ranking is really in dispute. AOL and YHOO are considered the leaders with the rest just trailing behind announcing "deals" of dubious substance and hoping for buyouts.

First off, I agree with AOL and Yahoo being #1 & #2, however, NSCP being #3???? I'd have to dispute that. What have they done that would warrant them #3? The jury remains out as to whether NetCenter will help them recapture any or all of the lost browser revenue. NSCP had the web portal business staring at them in the face and their management totally missed the boat. Right now, they are a company with their fingers in a lot of pies and they're having a tough time figuring out which ones suit them best. IMO, I think XCIT should rank #3 due to their superior management (although the NSCP deal is somewhat dubious), number of eyeballs, and deal-making with Intuit (and others).

So, you threw out the hint of announcements of "deals" of dubious substance. Could you elaborate on this a bit and give a few examples? Thanks.
