LWolf, I have been using Fidelity for about two years. I agree that they have the best customer support in the business. I do all of my trades online.

However, I wish that they would do a few things to improve their website. From the time I long on to their website, it usually takes me about 5 minutes before I get to the real time quote list. I have to click on about 4 links before I get the real time quotes. That really pisses me off. I did bookmark the real time quotes and I quess that solved the problem.

I also just opened an account with Datek and transfered a small portion of my portfolio to them. Their website is much faster than Fidelity's. I probably will keep most of my assets with Fidelity until I become more comfortable with Datek or some other firm.

I chose Datek because a lot of the regular ASNDers appear to use it. I have no real complaints about DLJ for limit trades. But real time market purchases are almost always higher than real time quotes indicate, and sales are almost always lower. So, I thought I'd give Datek a try. I should not have pulled all of my money out. I should have staged it... but live and learn.
I really feel bad about missing the last 6 to 7 point move on ASND. I would have made the same amount on BAY also.
I feel that I have just lost the opportunity to increase my portfolio about 15% while in "transition."

I'll let you know how Datek works out. I look forward to cutting my day trade costs in half.
