Dave, Let Me Be Clear...

I'm positive on SEEK. I've stocked up again... as
of Friday. And will get some calls on Monday. The
Market? I'm not so sure.

But, back to SEEK for a moment... Buried in an XCIT
news release was word from SEEK's marketing director
that they will be announcing a Japanese deal soon.

SEEK's been AWFULLY quiet recently, though. In
hindsight, I think some of their early-year SPO move
was motivated by the desire to have a war chest ready
for the NSCP renegotiation. This was GOING to be their
BIG DEAL. And it DIDN'T happen. (Oh yeah, they
got a little part of that deal...) SEEK walked away from
the table... apparently because of something that Barksdale
said or did.

So, for another quarter, SEEK's been sitting on
(by my math) at least $30 million dollars. Maybe more.

SEEK will benefit from the next round of earnings
speculation... so to be in now at these levels... seems
to make sense to me.

Best Regards,

c m
