Dave, folks lose all the time, especially beginners. I lost when I started as most all do.

That is why one should paper trade when first starting out ... this is from my site:

-NEVER invest more than what you can afford to lose.
-The best time to buy a penny stock is when its in a period of a narrow trading at low price and low volume.
-Dont get caught up in the 'herd' mentality, always BE A CONTRARIAN! .... buy when everybody else is selling, sell when everybody is buying!
-The best time to get into the market is when it looks its worst. The worst time is when it looks its best.
-Diversify your portfolio, dont put all your eggs into one basket.
-Always have some spare cash handy. (Slush fund)
-If you missed a trade, dont worry, there is always another.
-When your stock doubles, sell half thereby recovering your initial investment.
-Dont chase a stock, let it come to you or just go on to the next ticker.
-Avoid high priced penny stocks. When a penny stock runs +100% in one day, it can drop just as fast.
-Do not attempt to day trade without real time quotes.
- always check charts to see if accumulation has occurred prior to the PICK!

PS- re: my earlier post... I am not trying to suggest we stop posting... that is paranoid and ludicrous... much work HAS been done of DIXS, TEXN, etc and the attempt at FOCUS STOCKS is to be commended.

But we all should be exploring other avenues for success....or at least be aware why it is getting harder to make as much easy money....and adapt appropriately.

Potentially, BB's stock buying is far more lucrative, IMO, than the bigger board stocks....they are manipulated too by analysts and others. We do have MORE control in this venue...still.

There are so many philanthropists traveling these threads...everybody trying to help the little guy...I don't remember any of this 2 years ago..seems all the talk started when people saw that they were getting screwed by some of our so called leaders....then the MMs...must be them screwing us....cause we agreed not to screw each other..bla bla bla....

You might as well save your breath and your fingertips...all the orchestrated, Madison Ave., sizzle won't get any more fresh blood here. At least no more heavy bleeders. Cut off the blood and the tumor dies........sounds frightening doesn't it?

The days of easy pickens' are gone..........no more sheep..all gone.

Tmex's private sanctuary was supposedly the cure all for what ails these threads....then the truce..then the partnership...what's next..structured marriages?

The BOTTOM line is knowing who to TRUST. and how to communicate your posts...public stuff won't work.

The game is changing and this is why we must change. We must not change to catch up, but to get ahead of the rest of the world.

Man, i have been thinking about this for a long time as I honed my trading skills.

I will match my trading skills and information resources against anyone, but the real trick here is not to compete, but to pool our resources.

Not band together in a flimsy way, but true solidarity. If we could really pull together, i will not buy or post another stock until I have found that big winner that's worth holding on to for the long haul and big payoff.
