Pat & Ken, Thanks for the advice ....

You've helped me a lot -- I was missing the business about defining a template to apply against the group being tested.

One last question on this. If I test a system against just one stock I get a nice statistical summary report which gives average trade profit/loss, number of trades on each side, etc., etc. When I run the test against a group of stocks I don't seem to get the same summary sheet for the whole group. I do get the sheet for each of the 66 stocks in the group, but no single summary that gives data for the entire group.

Will WOW give me this overall summary if I ask it correctly? Alternatively, do I need to take the "Smart Scan Report" which lists every buy & sell price for the entire group and crunch that through a spread sheet or some such to create a summary statistical report outside of WOW?
