BB, you wrote< AOL has been an awesome investment over the years, but it's just starting to turn in big profits >.
What do you consider to be, big profits?? A meager profit , after substantial losses does not constitute, big profits, does it?

Just an interesting side note and this may not be typical..

I have been on the net for about 3 years.. Have used many ISP's, and currently use AOL.. Ya, it has its pitfalls, but enough nice features to keep me coming back for now.. For the record, I use NSCP for the browser only cause I like the underdog and hate the establishment though long MSFT :) .. Yet to figure out if it is possible to use the mail features of NSCP if using AOL as the ISP. Anyone help?

Note #2: I frequently visit yahoo, use their E-mail (sometimes), and once in a while drop in for an online game of Eucher..

Conclusion: Short AOL? Short YHOO? Not a chance since I tend to use both of their services daily.

AMAZON.com?? Short the heck out of it... just another lousy book store... I have only been to their site once, and that was just to reafirm my short position.. Why shouldn't CPU carry a valuation as high as Amazon??? They have a pretty nice retail web presence, and TONS of hits... Maybe CPU is just undervalued by 400 or 500%?? :)

Everyone that owns a computer has heard of AOL. Everyone that has ever used the internet before probably uses YHOO to some degree, hardly anyone I know has ever heard of Amazon...

Nothing scientific, just thoughts..
