I forgot to mention in this post that the sweep through those villages was a breach of a truce that the government had signed. It had promised in writing that it would not be the first to use violence. It broke its word. Again.

Poor PR, imho. Sort of like making a cheap threat that you can't make good on.

Those T-shirts are prized heirlooms now, they will be passed down through generations.
