Nothing except the unnecessary expense of 300Mhz SRAMs.. that's all..

I would rather spend my money on the core and not the cache ram thanks.

Good point.

Intel's Slot offerings are all over the map with L2 caches speed - 0 (Celeron) 1/2 CPU SPeed (Pentium II) and full CPU speed (Mendocino).

Cyrix and AMD and IDTI can do the same.
