Now, Now, Augie...

You don't get a lynch mob over here, unless
you plop like the proverbial turd in the punch bowl
and make outrageous statements like "Seek's going
out of business" or "Seek's going to $4"...

We're a lot more civil over here than you give
us credit. Sure, we had a rough couple of weeks when
someone attempted thread dominance through lack of
insight or research... but we've thoroughly recovered
and resumed our dirt naps. And had some fairly good
"conversations" as well. (BTW, I don't think the
"correction" is over, either. Friday looked like a big
invitation to a big party where individual investors
are the main items on the menu.)

There is no litmus test. My own preference is
for analysis, research, links, reasonable speculation,
etc. And, when you I and first crossed on Yahoo!, I was
the guy who was saying SEEK was heading back to $8 right
before it went to $12. That established me as the
Pauper of Short-Term Predictions. I've since gotten
even worse at this art.

And your kid DOES have it right. Buy, hold,
and let everbody else get old quickly with "shrewd"
trades and huge tax liabilities.

You should visit more often.

Best Regards,

c m The Lynch Committee Vice-Chair
