I don't know, Dave, beats the daylights out of me. I would be concerned that I was putting too much pressure on myself to perform....that if I had a bad week I would be scrambling to make up for it the rest of the month.....sort of an emotional roller coaster. I'm afraid I can't help you. When I trade I just track winners/losers and average gain/loss per trade per contract. I never really think about net return as I am going along. I just try to keep a reasonable level with respect to "per contract" gains and try to keep more winners than losers. Probably someone else has a better grip with respect to what you are looking for.
