It's true and Micron has about the same machine out for $2,199 including a 17 inch monitor and Office 97 (the Dell offer is a 17 inch monitor too).


That's what happens when you use cheap parts...made in Asian factories that are having a tough time right now and are willing to take the hit on price for the additional potential volume. Trade DELL, but buy CPQ. As a consultant, I've never had an unhappy customer with CPQ...but that is just my opinion...
